In traditional window and door systems, heat and cold can easily pass through the material, making them inefficient insulators. This leads to heat loss during winter and heat gain in summer, even in high-performance glazing, ultimately reducing overall energy efficiency.
Thermally broken systems solve this issue by incorporating an insulating strip between the inner and outer profiles, creating a thermal barrier. This significantly minimizes heat and cold transfer, ensuring a more stable indoor temperature throughout the year.
When paired with double glazing or low-emissivity glass, thermally broken systems offer exceptional insulation, reducing the need for excessive heating or cooling. This not only improves energy efficiency but also contributes to a more sustainable and eco-friendly building solution.
