RAINBOW COLOR
PRL has extended our lamination choices with modern glass options known as Rainbow interlayers. These laminates consist of 12 standard colors and can be combined with any other PVB we carry to create custom Rainbow hues. Standard shades were created to match industry standard glass tints, and now with these interlayers, architects and designers can achieve varying light transmissions without having to vary glass thickness or sacrifice structural performance.

SENTRYGLAS®
PRL offers SentryGlas® interlayers. These structural interlayers create lighter, safer and more structural glass that can stand up to greater loads and higher threat levels. SentryGlas® interlayers are 5 times stronger than PVB’s and are less susceptible to moisture intrusion or weather effects when laminated glass edges are exposed. This laminated safety glass is only available in clear.
BULLET RESISTANT
Get the job done with a variety of bullet resistant interlayers with us. Offering threat levels 1-8, our safety glass guards against a volume of weaponry and ammunition. And thinner and lighter than others on the market, our bullet resistant laminates are perfect for entrance doors, cashier windows and more. We produce bullet resistant glass in a range of shades and sizes using our proprietary blend of PVB and polycarbonate. Overall thicknesses depend on threat level. So, while level 3 is generated in a 1.10” overall thickness, higher and lower threat levels are generated with thicker or thinner interlayers.

SOUND CONTROL
PRL’s sound control laminated glass is manufactured with a special acoustic grade PVB interlayer. This unique interlayer has advanced the technology for high-grade acoustic control. When used with IG unit combinations, extraordinary sound reduction can be obtained. Laminated glass is also a better choice for sound transmittance and UV protection. Adding a laminate between the glasses is an excellent barrier for noise and the interlayer itself has additives that can screen out damaging UV rays. Our 96” x 153” state-of-the-art lamination line can fabricate sound control glass with interlayer thicknesses up to 3” overall.
